Management of low back pain in elite rowers
Fiona Wilson is a physiotherapist and an associate professor in Trinity College Dublin where she is head of the physiotherapy programme. She has over 30 years of clinical and research experience and has worked in the UK, South Africa and Dublin.
She is passionate about translating evidence into meaningful practice and has focused on athlete low back pain and brain health in her research.
She was head physiotherapist for rowing Ireland for 10 years and is now the first physiotherapist to be part of the FISA (the international rowing governing body) Sports Medicine Commission.
She still practices clinically and specialises in rowing low back pain.
In her presentation, Fiona is going to share her expert opinion regarding the management of low back pain in elite rowers.
