Management and return to performance of shoulder pain in elite swimming

We are delighted to introduce our next speaker Jane Carré, Athlete Health lead (and Physiotherapist) for British Swimming. Having come from a multisport environment including working with hockey, football, netball and rugby athletes, with British Bobsleigh and at the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Jane has worked in elite swimming since 2014. She was part of Team GB supporting swimmers at the Rio 2016 Olympic games, as well as having worked at multiple World, European and Commonwealth Games.

In Jane’s role at British Swimming she leads on the overall athlete health strategy, which includes planning the return to training and high level performance for elite swimmers following shoulder injury. In her presentation Jane is going to discuss the ‘management and return to performance of shoulder pain in elite swimming’.
